St Francis Homeless Projects

The parish run a number of projects to support the homeless in Newham/Waltham Forest
  • Sandwiches – served every weekday morning from the Friary
  • Nightshelter – part of NEWway Project in Newham
We will be running the nightshelter from Jan to March 2025.
  • We are serving hot meals on a Saturday morning Jan to March 2025.
  • We collect donations for the food bank at Holy Trinity Church in Leytonstone (where our 9am Sunday Mass used to be celebrated) as well as for the projects above.  Donations of non-perishable food or money can be left at the parish office.

If you have a little time and would like to volunteer with any of our projects please contact the parish office for more details.  We try to work with lots of volunteers who can each give a small amount of time so we would love to hear from you.
