HEALING OF THE SICK/ FOR THE DYING

Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane

“Faith is not a light that scatters all our darkness, but a lamp that guides our steps in the night and suffices for the journey. To those who suffer, God does not provide arguments that explain everything; rather, his response is that of an accompanying presence, a history of goodness, which touches every story of suffering and opens up a ray of light. In Christ, God himself wishes to share this path with us and to offer His gaze so that we might see the light within it.” (Pope Francis – Lumen Fidei).

We continue to pray for the sick, lonely, anxious and suffering in our Parish Family. If you would like an intention to be added to the Parish Prayers, please contact the Parish secretary via the Parish Office.

Mass intentions can be arranged through the Parish Secretary.  Please note that it is not our tradition to publicly announce the intention at mass but the priest is aware of these intentions and details will be noted on the Parish Newsletter (when we are able to issue).  Also see the Mass Intentions page.

If you are going into hospital, please let the nurse know you are a Catholic and a visit can be arranged from the hospital chaplain.
